The main characteristics of the medical device industry in Shenzhen are the obvious regional agglomeration of the industry, the high degree of personnel specialization, the solid innovation ability, the outstanding superior products, and the balance of domestic and foreign markets. There are more enterprises and products selected in Shenzhen, mainly because Shenzhen medical device enterprises have done a better job in independent innovation. At present, the current situation of domestic medical devices is that most of the profits in the high-end medical equipment market are earned by foreign companies. For a long time, few local companies can compete with foreign medical giants. In the high-end market such as large-scale medical equipment and precision surgical instruments, imported brand equipment accounts for a large share, and the equipment purchase price and after-sales service price are expensive. Many domestic medical institutions have the problem of blindly pursuing high-end and greedy for foreign countries.
